Here are Winter picks from each member of our staff.

June:
Have you ever tried Lara Bars? Truth is, I'm not really a "bar" person, but if I am on the run and I need a little something, that's exactly what I'll grab. We must carry at least 15 flavors... each having only 3 or 4 ingredients! They are gluten free and there is no sugar added. Does it get better than that? Of course, it gives a nice bump to your protein intake, as well. My favorite is the cashew and the hazelnut chocolate. Check 'em out!
Kevin:
We now carry a delicious drink called Heart Juice. It has hawthorn and resveratrol (both noted to be good for our hearts). It's sweetened only with Stevia and even my kids love it. They say it tastes like Gatorade (and now my wife wants to know when they tried Gatorade - uh oh!)
P.S. - it's kosher too!
Joe:
When the cold of winter sets in and the heat system comes up in our house, it is time to think about hydration. What I like to use externally is Tates Miracle conditioner, as well as Aubrey Organic's Collagen and Almond moisturizing lotion. Internally, I use Carlson Fish oil caps, increasing the amount that I usually use in the warmer months. Carlson has been a family owned business for over 40 years. Of course, I drink even more water this time of year...
Shakti:
Maca is known as Peruvian Ginseng. It is excellent for balancing hormones in both men and women. In men, it will increase libido by balancing testosterone. For women, it will regulate menstruation and lessen the severity of heavy flow and PMS symptoms.
Leda:
What can I say, it's winter (at least that's what the weather man tells me). My son and I always enjoy a nice hot cup of Neshaminy Valley 100% organic hot cocoa. We add organic, vanilla extract, a little turbinado sugar and a dash a cinnamon. hmmmmmmm, so warm and cozy!
